Authentication notes
Every Pokémon card is checked against known-genuine references: card stock and light-blocking layer, holo foil texture and pattern for that specific era, font and color accuracy on HP/energy symbols, and card-back print quality. First edition WOTC holos and modern alt-art chase cards get extra magnifier-level scrutiny before pricing.
No guesswork
How we get to your offer
We pull the live market comp for Special on Pokémon, then apply the same locked rates we use on every trade-in: 85% of comp in cash, or 100% in store credit. No lowball guesswork, no per-item haggling. The comp is the only input, and the math is the same for a common card and a grail.
