Atari 7800 Condition Notes

7800 carts use a different, larger keyed shell notch than 2600 carts (needed for backward compatibility) — worth knowing so a 7800-shaped cart isn't mistaken for a miskeyed 2600 one. The 7800 was announced in 1984 but held back by Atari's near-collapse until 1986, so despite a full library, genuinely complete boxed copies are scarcer than the platform's low public profile suggests.

Tank Command — Common Questions

How we get to your offer

We pull the live market comp for Tank Command on Atari 7800, then apply the same locked rates we use on every trade-in: 85% of comp in cash, or 90% in store credit. No lowball guesswork, no per-item haggling. The comp is the only input, and the math is the same for a common atari 7800 cart and a grail.
